Winter Storm Restoration Update

Thank you for your patience and understanding as our crews worked to restore power during this historic winter storm.

Throughout the storm, 62 individual outages impacted 1455 members across our service area. Storm-related outages began at 10 AM on Saturday; the last outage was restored at 5:40 PM Sunday.

Restoration efforts were challenged by treacherous road conditions, including snow-covered roads, gusty winds, white-out conditions, and limited access in some areas. For a period of time during the most dangerous conditions, we made the difficult decision to bring crews off the roads to ensure their safety before continuing restoration efforts.

A special thank you to the crews from our sister cooperative, Union Power, and contractors, Xylem Tree Experts and C-Phase Services. Their support and teamwork were instrumental in safely restoring power to our members in a timely manner.

While crews were busy outside restoring power, our customer service team answered 436 calls, and our co-op “food crew” prepared 350 meals for those working during the storm.

We are grateful for the cooperation and patience shown by our members as our teams navigated these difficult conditions. Your support allows us to focus on what matters most—restoring power safely.
