FAQS - (FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS)
"What if I'm building a new home or placing a mobile home on a lot that has never had service?"

To establish "new" service, you will need to apply either through our website, by phone or in person at one of our office locations. One of our CSRs will set up an appointment for you with a Staking Engineer. Before that meeting:
  • The meter base must be set at its permanent location.
  • You must provide the book and page number where the deed is registered in your name at the Register of Deeds Office.
  • If service is for a mobile home, the home must be on the lot OR all four corners must be accurately staked.
  • When you meet the Staking Engineer, all the property owners (those who are named on the deed) or a representative must sign the Underground Agreements. You must know the location of any septic tank, buried cables or water lines.
