In our on-going efforts to educate the public to the dangers as well as the benefits of electricity, Carteret-Craven Electric Cooperative provides public safety demonstrations to school and club groups. The demonstrations can take many forms, from a high-voltage display to demonstration of an educational energy cycle with lots of experiments and interesting information. Contact the Communications Department to set up one of these demonstrations. Other lectures include storm preparation and restoration, the Cooperative’s impact on our community and the Cooperative Business Model. Tours are also available.
