Pursuant to Cooperative By-Laws, Carteret-Craven holds an Annual Meeting of Members each year.  During the meeting, results of the Board of Directors* election are announced and any specific business that needs to come before the members is reported.

*Your cooperative is run by a Board of Directors who serve three-year terms.  Each year three seats are up for selection.  The election is held by mail and if there is a challenge to any seat, ballots are mailed to the members.  To find out how to run and serve on the Board of Directors, contact our Human Resources Department at 252-727-2228.

This year's meeting was held Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Glad Tidings Church on Country Club Road in Morehead City.  Food was served in the Family Life Center by CCEC's Relay For Life Team.  Health screenings including glaucoma checks, blood pressure checks and blood sugar checks were provided. Entertainment was provided by the Havelock High School Jazz Band as well as the Croatan High School Chorus. Election results were announced with Director Jerry Meadows being re-elected to District #9 and Cliff Rice re-elected to District #10. Newcomers Dewey Wayne Willis (District #7) and Doug Fulcher (District #5) were elected to those seats.
